Are there even stricter punishments for different drug offenses?

The level of offense depends upon not only the type of drug, for instance, marijuana, many times as a misdemeanor, depending on the amount of marijuana that somebody has. Florida marijuana is still an illegal substance, unless you have a prescription and even then it can only be purchased and held by the person who actually has the prescription for marijuana. Other drug offenses, such as cocaine, heroin prescription medications, carry different levels of punishment with it. They’re felonies.

Depending on the amount of the substance that you have to be a greater felony and that felony can include trafficking, which comes with a mandatory minimum of three years in prison. You need to speak with your attorney to make sure that we challenge every aspect of that drug crime and help to reduce it as far as possible. We’ll get an acquittal or in the best case, a dismissal.
